Extra virgin olive oil from the foothills of the Montagne Noire

The climate in La Livinière, being Mediterranean and sheltered from the rain by the mountains, results in perfect conditions for the production of high quality olive oil.

At Domaine de la Senche we have some 200 olive trees. We grow some of the most flavored olive varieties, including Picholine Lucques, Olivière and Aglandau.

The olive trees are harvested by hand in November and December, before being pressed using only traditional methods. This results in a complex and elegant extra virgin olive oil with aromas from the Languedoc garrigue.

We also produce a small volume of table olives, from the Lucques variety.
